Each of these candidates currently serves in the Texas House and as a member of the Texas House Republican Caucus. They have been and will continue to serve as an effective champion for conservative values on behalf of their districts. During the most recent 88th Legislative Session, one of the most conservative sessions in Texas history, these members made it a priority to support important measures that would ensure the growth and prosperity of the Lone Star State, including legislation:
Reducing the burden of property taxes on business and homeowners;
Banning gender modification treatments for minors;
Advancing additional security measures to secure the border;
Restricting children’s access to sexually explicit performances and materials;
Ensuring all Texans, especially children, are protected online;
Tackling the growing fentanyl crisis;
Cracking down on drug cartels and trafficking; and
Implementing a balanced, fiscally responsible state budget for the next two years.
The Texas Runoff Election takes place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Early Voting will occur Monday, May 20, 2024 through Friday, May 24, 2024.
