AUSTIN – The Texas House Republican Caucus PAC (THRC PAC) today released the statewide results of a poll conducted by Cygnal from July 19-20 on the Texas Democrats’ decision to abandon their jobs and flee the state on private jets. This probabilistic survey was conducted July 19 – 20, 2021, with 700 likely general election voters. It has a margin of error of ±3.70%. Known registered voters were interviewed via IVR, SMS, and email invitation. This survey was weighted to a likely general election voter universe. “It is clear Texans are fed up with the Democrat theatrics,” said THRC PAC Chairman, Jim Murphy (R-Houston). “While the Texas Democrats vacation in Washington, Republicans will be hard at work to deliver property tax relief, provide a 13th check for retired teachers, grant funding to foster care programs, among other things. And the House Republican Caucus PAC looks forward to making sure voters know it.” Do you approve or disapprove of Democratic legislators in Texas walking off the job and fleeing to DC in an attempt to shut down the current special session and block the passage of legislation?
